Design

The Galaxy Note 4 introduces a new sleek and stylish Galaxy design. The phone comes with a premium metal frame (aluminium sides) and fluid curvature. Like the other Galaxy's, it comes with a 2.5D glass screen and soft-textured leather like back cover which gives great comfort that makes it easy to control the phone single handedly. The Note 4 is more than beautiful; it offers enhanced durability and a very good grip. Even though the Note 4 is 2.3mm taller, 0.6mm narrower and 0.2mm thicker than the Note 3, it still weighs only 8g more at 176g.

Display

The Note 4 display is 2,560 x 1,440 on a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen, equalling 515 ppi in pixel density. This high resolution boasts a tremendous viewing experience for web browsing, gaming and e-book reading.

Processor and OS

The Note 4 comes in two flavors but both runs on the Android Kitkat 4.4.4. One of it is armed with a latest Snapdragon 805 chipset, which packs 2.7GHz Quad Core Processor and a 600MHz Adreno 420 GPU, as well as 3GB RAM under the hood. And the other one armed with Exynos 5433 chipset comprised of four 1.9GHz Cortex-A57 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A53 cores. With the Snapdragon 805 chipset, the Note 4 is one of the most powerful devices in the market.

Connectivity

The device comes with a Bluetooth 4.1, which speeds up the data transfer. It has a built-in Download booster which could be used to boost the download speed. It also comes with an amazing IR LED (Remote controller) which can be used to control the IR devices. It also has NFC for wireless data transfer. It has standard USB 2.0 along with Wi-Fi 802.11 for easy internet access.

S Pen

The Samsung Note is synonymous with its S Pen in the same way bread goes with jam. It's the one thing that helps the Samsung Note 4 stand out from its competitors. The stylus currently is used only by a few companies but Samsung have mastered it. The new S Pen comes with a better grip, improved touch and has enhanced pressure sensitivity giving an improved digital handwriting experience. You can select text from any content or app and use it together. You can easily edit photos using the S pen.

Camera

Not only does the Note 4 come with a massive 16MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2, but the new camera also comes with the optical image stabilization (OIS). This is the first time this feature is being used in any of the Samsung Galaxy smartphones (except the Samsung Zoom series). The OIS feature in the camera lets you capture great pictures and videos even at low light conditions. It also helps you avoid capturing blurry images while on shaky hands. The front 'selfie' camera which is a 3.7MP with an aperture of F1.9/, is perfectly made for the Selfie trend. It comes with a Wide selfie mode (120º) to capture the perfect selfies. The front camera too is designed to capture clear and bright pictures at low light conditions.
