Dynamic and the World Longest Zoom
This camera has a dynamic zoom range, going from a wide 21mm to a far-reaching 1365mm. Equipped with Canon's ZoomPlus technology, the camera's optical zoom is doubled and its reach is extended to 130* zoom which helps to capture the finest of all details.
Advanced Zoom Framing Assist
Canon PowerShot SX60 HS features Advanced Zoom Framing Assist Feature that enables the camera to shoot at high zoom and to counter blurry or poorly composed shots. Also, under this feature, there is a Seek Assist Function that allows the camera to intelligently detect the panning and to reacquire a fast-moving subject that has moved out of frame by zooming out to the widest angle for a view of the entire scene. After the subject is re-framed, the PowerShot SX60 HS goes back to the previous zoom level to resume shooting. Plus, Auto Zoom helps to track a subject and it automatically zooms in and out to maintain the subject's size within the frame.
Advanced Movie Control
With Manual Movie Mode, you can have an unprecedented control in video recording on a compact camera. Through this, the user can control settings such as shutter speed, aperture and ISO. To enhance the sound-capturing quality, this camera is equipped with external microphone terminal which can be used in conjunction with an optional external microphone. The buttons and parts of this camera are all designed to be silent, so as to eliminate camera-related sound disturbance.
