SPOON�â�„�¢ is ad-free, fine-Art and slow fashion photography magazine originally founded by Karine Chane Yin Patrice Fuma Courtis in 1996, first on the Internet and then printed for the first time the same year. It became very quickly a favorite media for photographers and artists (including cult fashion photographers Steve Hiett, David Bailey, James Moore or Hans Freurer among others) who found there an open minded space to freely express their creativity and visual language away from commercial pressure. After 7 issues, We left the company when the commercial protocol started to conflict with our creative goals... We recently owned back the SPOON magazine trademark and right away, issue 01 of the new edition was born in early 2014.

For New Edition we wanted the magazine completely ad-free, because we feel this is today the best way to keep our publication independent : no limitations, no Status Quo! As we give freedom to our contributors, we give our readers the freedom to reflect and get inspired with no advertising interference.
